Top 10 Things to Know About the Fizen Wallet (2026)

The Fizen wallet puts the keys in your hands, which is the point and the responsibility. Here are the ten things to know before you move money in: the seed phrase, what nobody can undo, networks, and where self-custody ends.

Top 10 Things to Know About the Fizen Wallet (2026)

Quick answer: The Fizen wallet is a non-custodial wallet: you hold the private keys, backed up by a 12-word seed phrase, and Fizen cannot access, freeze, move or recover your funds. It sends and receives on many chains, including Tron, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana, and Swap and Bridge moves tokens between them. USDT you deposit into QR Pay leaves self-custody and is governed by the QR Pay Terms.

Key takeaways

  • You hold the keys. Fizen cannot see, freeze, move or recover what is in your wallet.
  • The seed phrase is the only way back. Lose it and nobody, Fizen included, can restore the wallet. Fizen staff will never ask for it.
  • Many chains, one app. Tron, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana and more; tokens not listed by default are added by contract address.
  • Self-custody stops at QR Pay. USDT you deposit into QR Pay is governed by the QR Pay Terms, so move in only what you plan to spend.

An exchange posts a short notice on a Tuesday afternoon: withdrawals paused for maintenance. Everyone with money there waits. A self-custody wallet is the answer to that afternoon, because the coins sit at an address only your key can move.

The Fizen wallet is that kind of wallet, and it is the base of everything Fizen is building: the stablecoin neobank for people on the move, where one app holds, pays, invests and keeps you online. Owning the keys also means owning the mistakes. These are the ten things to know first.

Who actually holds your money in the Fizen wallet?

1. You do: it is non-custodial

The Fizen Wallet Terms are blunt about it: Fizen does not hold, control or have access to your assets or your private keys. Transactions are signed on your phone with your key. That is why no company can switch your balance off, and also why nobody can step in when something goes wrong.

2. Setting it up takes a seed phrase and a PIN

You create a new wallet or import one with an existing 12-word seed phrase, write the phrase down, confirm it, and set a PIN for the device. One seed phrase covers every account you add inside the same wallet, so one backup protects them all. Steps: Set Up Wallet.

What can nobody recover for you?

3. A lost seed phrase or private key

If the phrase is gone and the phone is lost, reset or replaced, the wallet is gone with it. Fizen cannot reset a key or restore a wallet. Keep the phrase offline, ideally in more than one physical place, and never as a screenshot, a photo or a note in cloud storage.

4. A confirmed transaction

Once a transfer is confirmed on a blockchain it cannot be reversed, recalled or refunded by Fizen. Sending to the wrong address, on the wrong network, or to a phishing site is final. And anyone who asks for your seed phrase, including someone claiming to be from Fizen, is not Fizen.

Which networks and tokens does it handle?

5. Many chains, with custom tokens added by hand

The wallet sends and receives tokens on many chains, including Tron, Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana. A token the app does not list by default can be added with its contract address. Copycat tokens use the same symbol as real ones, so only add contracts you have checked: How to Add a Token.

6. Match the network on both sides, and keep gas

When you receive, choose the token and the network in Receive and make sure the sender uses the same one. Send a small test before a large amount. Every chain charges a network fee in its own coin, such as ETH on Ethereum or SOL on Solana, paid to the network, not to Fizen. Keep a little of it in the wallet or the transfer will not go through.

7. Swap and Bridge moves tokens between chains

USDT sitting on Tron or Ethereum can be swapped and bridged to Solana or BNB Chain inside the app. Quotes come from third-party providers that Fizen surfaces in the wallet; the swap is executed with them, on their pricing and slippage, so check the rate and the amount you will receive before you confirm.

What changes when you use QR Pay?

8. Deposited USDT leaves self-custody

To pay local QR codes in Vietnam or the Philippines as a visitor, you deposit from your Fizen wallet into QR Pay. QR Pay accepts only USDT on Solana or BNB Chain; USDT on another network, or another token, cannot be deposited. KYC applies per wallet and per device, so a new phone means KYC again. The Fizen wallet is self-custody. QR Pay works differently: USDT you move into QR Pay is governed by the Fizen QR Pay Terms, so only move in what you plan to spend. Guide: Deposit into QR Pay.

What else does the same wallet do?

9. One balance for travel and investing

  • eSIM: pay for travel data with USDT on Solana or BNB Chain.
  • Tokenized US stocks and ETFs: bought and sold with USDT or USDC on Ethereum, settled to your own wallet, for eligible non-US users.
  • Gift cards and phone top-up: paid from the same balance.

10. What the wallet does not do

It does not sell you USDT: where you get it is your choice. It does not make a token safe because the app supports it, and it does not protect you from approvals you sign in third-party apps, so read every signing prompt. Sanctions and anti-money-laundering screening still applies, and Fizen products are not offered to US Persons. Tether, the issuer of USDT, has made a strategic investment in Fizen; that is backing for the company, not a guarantee of anyone's funds.

Done right, it is a quiet thing: the next time a platform pauses withdrawals, your balance is still on a chain, under a key that only you hold.
