Top 10 Things to Know About Fizen Swap & Bridge (2026)
Your USDT is on the wrong chain for what you want to do next. Fizen Swap & Bridge fixes that inside the app. Here are the ten things to know before you confirm a swap, including how the Tether Gold swap works and where it is not offered.
Quick answer: Fizen Swap & Bridge lets you swap one token for another and move tokens between chains inside the Fizen app, from your own self-custody wallet. It is how you get USDT onto Solana or BNB Chain for QR Pay and eSIM, or onto Ethereum for tokenized stocks. You can also swap USDT for Tether Gold (XAUT) on Ethereum, except in Vietnam and other restricted or sanctioned countries.
Key takeaways
- Swap changes the token, bridge changes the chain. Both happen inside the app, and the result lands in your own wallet.
- It fixes the wrong-network problem. Move USDT from Tron or Ethereum to Solana or BNB Chain before you deposit into QR Pay.
- Read the quote. Rate, fees, slippage and the minimum you will receive show before you confirm, and confirmed swaps cannot be reversed.
- Gold is a swap away, but not everywhere. USDT to XAUT on Ethereum; not available to users in Vietnam or restricted and sanctioned countries.
You land in Da Nang with USDT on Tron, open QR Pay to pay for dinner, and find it only accepts USDT on Solana or BNB Chain. The money is yours, it is just on the wrong road. Swap & Bridge is the slip road.
Fizen is building the stablecoin neobank for people on the move, and that only works if your balance can go where the next payment is. These are the ten things to know before you move it.
What does Swap & Bridge actually do?
1. Swap changes the token, bridge changes the chain
A swap turns one token into another, for example USDT into XAUT. A bridge moves a token from one blockchain to another, for example USDT on Tron to USDT on BNB Chain. In the Fizen app both sit in one place, so you do not need a second app or an exchange account to do either.
2. It exists for the next thing you want to pay for
- QR Pay (visitors in Vietnam and the Philippines): USDT on Solana or BNB Chain only. USDT on another network, or another token, cannot be deposited.
- eSIM in the app: USDT on Solana or BNB Chain.
- Tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs: USDT or USDC on Ethereum, for eligible non-US users.
The order for QR Pay is always the same: move the USDT to Solana or BNB Chain in your wallet, deposit from the wallet into QR Pay, then scan and pay. See Deposit into QR Pay.
Who are you trading with, and what does it cost?
3. Quotes come from third-party providers
Fizen gathers quotes and shows them in the wallet. The Fizen Wallet Terms (section 1.6) explain that the swap itself is executed between you and the provider, on its pricing and slippage, and that Fizen is not the counterparty. Fizen does not promise a particular rate.
4. Read the quote before you confirm
Check the rate, the fees, the slippage tolerance and the minimum amount you will receive. A bridge usually takes longer than a swap on one chain, because two networks have to confirm.
5. Keep a little gas on the chain you start from
Every chain charges a network fee in its own coin, such as ETH on Ethereum or TRX on Tron, paid to the network rather than to Fizen. With none in the wallet, the transaction will not go through. One useful detail for QR Pay: depositing from the wallet into QR Pay on BNB Chain costs no gas, while Solana needs a little SOL, so if you hold no SOL, choose BNB Chain.
How do you avoid an expensive mistake?
6. Test small, then send the rest
Move a small amount first, check it arrived on the chain you expected, then move the rest.
7. Confirmed means final
You sign every swap with your own key, and once a blockchain confirms it, Fizen cannot reverse or recall it. Read the destination chain twice.
8. It converts crypto you already hold, nothing more
Swap & Bridge does not take a card or a bank transfer, and it does not sell you USDT; where you get USDT is your choice. It also does not make every token safe: a token being swappable is not an endorsement.
How does the Tether Gold swap work?
9. USDT to XAUT on Ethereum, and back
In Swap & Bridge, choose Swap, then USDT to XAUT on Ethereum, check the quote and confirm; selling is the same in reverse. XAUT is issued by Tether, the issuer of USDT, and each token is backed by one troy ounce of physical gold held in vaults in Switzerland. It is not a stablecoin: it follows the gold price, which goes down as well as up.
10. Gold is not available everywhere
The XAUT swap is not available to users in Vietnam, where the partner blocks it, or in other restricted or sanctioned countries. If you are in one of them, the option will not work for you, and a VPN or false location breaks the terms.
Done well, it is one quiet minute before a trip: the balance sits on the right chain, and dinner in Da Nang is a scan, not a problem.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between swap and bridge in Fizen?
A swap changes one token into another. A bridge moves a token from one blockchain to another. Both happen inside the Fizen app.
How do I move USDT from Tron to BNB Chain or Solana in Fizen?
Use Swap & Bridge in the app, check the quote and the minimum you will receive, then confirm. Send a small test first.
Is Fizen the counterparty to my swap?
No. Quotes come from third-party providers, and the swap is executed with them on their pricing and slippage.
Can I buy Tether Gold (XAUT) in Fizen?
Yes, by swapping USDT for XAUT on Ethereum, except for users in Vietnam and other restricted or sanctioned countries.
Can I reverse a swap?
No. Once a blockchain confirms the transaction it cannot be reversed. Check the destination chain and amount before you confirm.
Do I need gas to swap?
Yes. Each chain charges a network fee in its own coin, such as ETH on Ethereum. Keep a little in your wallet.
Put your balance on the right chain
Open Swap & Bridge in the Fizen app to move USDT to Solana or BNB Chain for QR Pay and eSIM, to Ethereum for investing, or into Tether Gold where available.
