Jetpac eSIM Review 2026: Lounge Access, Refunds and Support Checked

Quick answer: Yes, Jetpac is a legitimate travel eSIM, sold by a Singapore company in the Circles telco group and rated 4.7 on Trustpilot from 3,614 reviews as of 4 November 2026. Its real difference is SmartDelay: register your flight in the app at least 24 hours before departure and a delay of an hour or more gets you and one companion a LoungeKey lounge voucher.

Key takeaways

  • Real company, telco parent. Jetpac's terms name Jetpac (Circles Global) Pte. Ltd. as the seller since 1 March 2024; before that it was Liberty Wireless Pte. Ltd., another Circles subsidiary.
  • The lounge perk has rules. Register at least 24 hours ahead, up to 2 flights per data pack, you plus 1 companion, delay of an hour or more as reported to FlightStats. Cancellations and next-day reschedules do not count.
  • Installed means used. Jetpac's terms refuse refunds once the eSIM is installed, except under its Moneyback Guarantee for website buyers who cannot connect or have no compatible phone.
  • Support gets mostly good marks. Recent Trustpilot reviews praise fast WhatsApp fixes; the 1-star ones describe slow replies during outages and a throttled unlimited plan.

You are comparing travel eSIMs before a flight out of Sydney or Toronto, and one brand keeps promising something nobody else does: a free airport lounge if your flight runs late. I read Jetpac's own terms, its help centre, both app stores and its newest public reviews on 4 November 2026. This is what holds up, and what the small print adds.

Who runs Jetpac, and is it legit?

Jetpac's about page says its parent company is Circles, a Singapore tech group that builds systems for telecom operators. The App Store lists the seller as JETPAC (CIRCLES GLOBAL) PTE. LTD., and Trustpilot shows a Singapore address. So you are buying from a telco group, not a one-person reseller.

How does Jetpac lounge access work when your flight is delayed?

SmartDelay is included with a data pack, but only if you set it up in time. From Jetpac's help centre:

  • Register in the Jetpac app at least 24 hours before departure. You can register up to 364 days ahead; Jetpac recommends 48 hours.
  • Up to 2 flights per data pack, and each leg of a connection needs its own registration.
  • You plus 1 companion, and only people named in the confirmation email get in.
  • The trigger is the airline's gate delay as reported to FlightStats, one announcement or several adding up to the threshold. Airlines that do not report to FlightStats cannot be registered.
  • Cancelled or moved to the next day does not count. That goes to the airline's own compensation process.

Paid lounge and Fast Track passes, sold through DragonPass, are a separate add-on and are not refundable once bought.

How do install, top-up and running out of data work on Jetpac?

You download the eSIM right after purchase, on Wi-Fi, through the app or the QR code in your welcome email. Turn on data roaming before you land; the pack starts when it latches onto a network abroad. After the trip you keep the same eSIM and buy another pack next time, no reinstall.

When the data runs out, Jetpac says WhatsApp, Google Maps, Uber and Grab keep working. Its Eterna page (25 August 2026) adds 100 MB free per eligible trip, up to 4 trips a year with a 2-month gap, subject to conditions.

Two details worth knowing: the eSIM is data-only and Jetpac does not support SMS, so keep your home SIM for bank codes. And a Jetpac help article (updated 15 November 2024) lists TikTok as unavailable in 15 countries, Australia and Japan among them.

What do Jetpac users say about support and refunds?

Reviews posted 25 October to 3 November 2026 on Trustpilot lean positive: several thank named agents for fixing an install or a Hong Kong connection within minutes over WhatsApp. The low scores describe about 15 hours of silence during an outage, service cut with four days left, and an "Unlimited China" plan slowed after 3 GB a day. Jetpac replied to 98% of negative reviews.

The refund terms are strict. Once installed, an eSIM counts as used. A technical install fault can be refunded if support cannot fix it, requested within 30 days. The Moneyback Guarantee, which overrides the rest, covers website buyers with no compatible phone or no local network connection, up to 100%, until 15 days after the pack expires. Leftover data at expiry is never refunded.

Is there another option if Jetpac does not fit your trip?

Fizen has no lounge perk, so if SmartDelay is the reason you buy, Jetpac is the one that has it. If payment and changed plans matter more, Fizen eSIM works differently:

  • Pay your way: USDT on Solana or BNB Chain in the app, or by card via Stripe, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • A gift to start: exclusive to new Fizen app users, US$10 of eSIM credit the moment you join, which pays for up to 30% of each plan until it is used, then +US$2 after every order.
  • Changed plans? An unused, not-yet-installed eSIM can usually be taken back; eligibility depends on the plan (Package details or chat).
  • A real person in chat. A verified Fizen-side fault gets a free 1-for-1 replacement for the whole trip.
  • Honest limit: most Fizen eSIMs cannot be topped up; more data means a new eSIM.

Your money. Your freedom. No borders.

Frequently asked questions

Is Jetpac eSIM good?

For many travellers, yes. As of 4 November 2026 it holds 4.7 on Trustpilot from 3,614 reviews and 4.3 on Google Play. Complaints centre on slow replies during outages and throttling on unlimited plans.

Does Jetpac give free airport lounge access?

Only on a qualifying delay. Register the flight in the app at least 24 hours before departure; if the airline reports a delay of an hour or more, you and one named companion get a LoungeKey voucher.

Can I get a refund from Jetpac?

Not after installing, under its general terms. Its Moneyback Guarantee covers website purchases where you have no compatible phone or cannot connect to a local network, claimed up to 15 days after the pack expires.

Can Australians and Canadians use Jetpac?

Yes. Jetpac says anyone with an unlocked, eSIM-capable phone can buy it, even with an existing mobile contract. It sells data for trips abroad; keep your home SIM active for calls and SMS.

Does Jetpac give you a phone number?

No. It is data-only and Jetpac says SMS is not supported. Voice packs for outgoing calls exist, but bank codes still arrive on your home SIM.
