In Memory of Nathan Allman - Ondo Finance's Founder

Nathan Allman, founder of Ondo Finance, passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2026. He was 32.

At Fizen, we share the grief felt across our industry today. Nathan was not just a founder — he was one of the clearest thinkers in tokenized finance. He took a thesis that most institutions were still debating and turned it into infrastructure that moved billions on-chain.

Before Ondo, Nathan worked on Goldman Sachs' digital assets desk. He studied at Brown and Stanford. He could have taken any path. He chose to build — and what he built mattered. Ondo brought tokenized US Treasuries, equities, and yield-bearing stablecoins to over 111,000 holders. These are not vanity numbers. They represent a shift in how the world accesses financial products.

What stood out about Nathan was not just his technical brilliance, but his humility. In an industry that rewards noise, he chose substance. He built quietly, executed relentlessly, and let the work speak.

Ian De Bode, Ondo's longtime President, has stepped in as CEO — a transition Nathan himself helped prepare. The team he assembled is experienced, committed, and carrying forward the mission he started.

From everyone at Fizen, we extend our deepest condolences to Nathan's family, the Ondo team, and every builder who was inspired by his work.

The best way to honor a builder is to keep building. We believe Ian and the Ondo team will do exactly that.

Rest in peace, Nathan.

The Fizen Team
