## The catch behind the card row

Accepted in principle is not accepted in practice. OpenAI bills through Stripe, and Stripe applies BIN screening, 3DS checks and region rules on top of the network logo. That is why a perfectly valid local Visa can fail while another Visa sails through: prepaid classifications, disabled international payments and country mismatches are all silent filters on that Accepted row.

## Paying with crypto anyway, the indirect route

OpenAI takes no crypto directly, but the practical workaround is one step removed: hold USDT, spend it through a Visa.
