Lugano, Switzerland--(November 2022) - As part of the new 'Plan B' initiative deal, Fizen met with the city of Lugano.

Partnership Deal

The Fizen executive team, along with Fizen's legal advisor Lars Schlichting, met with Pietro Poretti, the head of the Economic Development Division of the City of Lugano, and Robert Bregy, the general secretary. In order to work on multiple projects together, the two teams discussed and agreed on the terms of a partnership.

• We are in the process of  providing a node (with 20 others big institutions such as banks, software companies and others in Switzerland)
• We will help merchants in the city to accept crypto easily
• We will sponsor and provide education sessions
• We will help people to store and spend crypto easily as well as  access digital finance

3Achain

Fizen will contribute to the security and stability of the 3Achain, the institutional blockchain platform promoted by the City of Lugano. The City of Lugano, on the strength of its experience in Digital Strategy, has in 2021 created an institutional blockchain with the aim of promoting the economic development of businesses, spreading knowledge and facilitating access to this disruptive technology. Institutional partners, from all sectors, enthusiastically welcome the challenge and have decided to share its values, on a voluntary basis.

3Achain is born, a non-profit project that has two goals:

To enable anyone to have access to this technology at very low cost and in a short time.

To enable partner companies to gain unique know-how and thus a huge competitive advantage.

1. Payments

As of March 3rd, 2022, Lugano and Tether Operations Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on a blockchain-focused initiative called Plan B. Lugano will become one of the leading digital innovation hubs in Europe and the world. It would always be our goal to bring crypto payments to the whole community, allowing everyone to enjoy faster, safer, and cheaper payments.

Both government services and e-commerce businesses will be potentially using Fizen’s crypto payments infrastructure. Through Fizen’s solution, people can make seamless payments with cryptocurrencies like Tether and Bitcoin.

2. Education

Through strategic collaborations with local universities and the city of Lugano, Fizen is ready to contribute with specialized training courses in areas such as blockchain, web3 digital economy, web3 banking, and most importantly, Bitcoin. With the production of blockchain-related educational content and our experience  of expansion and development in southeast Asia, Fizen is eager to contribute to the promotion of this new disruptive industry.
