Fizen and FPT Japan Partner to Launch NFT Rewards for 2,000 Employees

On the afternoon of February 3, 2023, at FPT building (Hanoi), the signing ceremony for memorandum of understanding (MOU) between FPT Japan Holdings (FPT Japan) and Fizen GmbH (Fizen) took place successfully.

FPT Japan will officially use NFT to award more than 2,000 employees at 13 offices across Japan. This “NFT Rewards” application will be developed by Fizen. This is also one of the strong leaps for FPT Japan after FPT Corporation's Chairman, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, affirmed his belief in the future of blockchain technology and the metaverse recently.

FPT Japan is 100% owned by FPT Corporation - a leading IT company in Vietnam with over 179 offices worldwide and 60,000 employees.

Fizen registered its business operations in Zurich (Switzerland), is one of the leading Web3 and Blockchain companies with a team of engineers with many years of experience in developing blockchain applications.

Fizen provides Fizen Super App and NFT (Non Fungible Token) minting technology as award certificates for FPT Japan employees, which will replace traditional printed materials. NFT reward recipients can store these NFTs on the Fizen app.

In addition to reducing printing and production costs and contributing to environmental protection, this new reward solution will solve the problem of fake certificates thanks to the non-fungible characteristics of NFT technology.

NFT is a rapidly growing trend in the global push for digital transformation and has been adopted by large corporations like Starbucks, Coca Cola, Adidas and BMW. In Japan, in September last year, 7 mayors were awarded NFT as a certificate for outstanding achievements in digital transformation at “Summer Digi Denkoshien 2022” event with the presence of Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

The NFTization of internal certificates is part of the digital transformation of human resource management at FPT Japan.

FPT Software Deputy General Director and FPT Japan General Manager Do Van Khac shared: “FPT Japan is pursuing the goal of being in the Top 50 leading companies in the world in providing comprehensive digital transformation services and solutions. Working with tech startups like Fizen helps large corporations like FPT to quickly update and strengthen their technology capabilities. In addition to NFT application, FPT Japan also uses Fizen's blockchain product development and consulting services."
