For those who missed our first insightful AMA, this recap will give you a second chance to catch up on what happened.

In the last AMA, Leo Vu — CEO of the project, represented the founding team of Fizen to convey important information about the project and its values to the community.

The AMA is organized in three parts: Fizen Introduction, Host Q&A and Live Question. We are delighted to receive your enthusiastic support and participation.

Here’s a summary of what happened during the last AMA

Part 1: Get to know Fizen

Q1: Could you spend a few minutes introducing briefly our project Fizen? What is Fizen? What will this project bring to our community?

Thanks to our dedicated R&D team, we deeply understand the market and see massive potential for payments with crypto. It’s faster, cheaper and in the future, there will be many more crypto users. Fizen is here to facilitate crypto payments with a clear plan, building products with care and love.

• Core Product — Crypto Wallet Super App for Payments, GameFi & DeFi: is a non-custodial multi-chain wallet, focusing on real-life payments for crypto owners and gamers by providing a rich list of goods and services that can be paid for by crypto, including cafes, taxis, airline tickets, etc.
• Product plan:

1️⃣ Stage 1 (early 2022): acquiring users organically by providing the wallet for blockchain game producers with NFT asset management, mobile notifications, and convenient game token payments using the Swap&Pay feature.

2️⃣ Stage 2 (late 2022): issue visa debit cards that can be topped up with crypto and onboard merchants globally by offering a low-fee, easy-to-integrate crypto payment gateway.

3️⃣ Stage 3 (2023): provide DeFi features (swapping, lending) from 3rd parties.

We’ll bring to our community a really good product that you can use regularly and easily to pay for things with your crypto.

Our secondary product is Fizen Pay — a crypto payment gateway that helps businesses to accept crypto with ease. The fee is the lowest on the market at only 0.5% and the first 6 months are free!

Q2: We want to know more about your background and the core team behind the creation of Fizen.

I have been building startups for 15 years and am involved with a very successful SaaS company in California with 30,000 corporate clients across the US. I’m both a tech person and a business person. I’ve been coding since 9 yr-old and got my Master's Degree in eBusiness. I also worked in both startup and corporation environments. My expertise and experience will help me a lot in leading Fizen. I’m also in the blockchain/crypto market since 2016 and am familiar with many activities such as mining, trading, investing, and building dApp

About Fizen’s team, we have many members, so I will just introduce a few of them:

Tom, Fizen’s head of business, is based in Paris, France, and has more than 15 years of experience working in Business Development, Finance, and Operations roles in different countries from Asia to Europe. Tom and I have worked together on various blockchain projects for 3 years. Tom will bring in many large merchants and work with them on joint marketing.

Vinh is the project lead and has more than 12 years of hands-on experience in various IT development areas, especially Blockchain. I have been working with Vinh for more than 4 years. We worked together in FPT Software where I was the director of blockchain COE of FPT software, the biggest software development company in Vietnam with 30,000 employees in 26 countries.

Iris is our CMO with a 5-year solid track record as a marketing manager. She built the community for Monsterra very well and together we raised 2 million from top VCs such as Hashed, Huobi venture, Shima Capital, etc. for Monsterra

With 50 other full-time members, we have an excellent working relationship and develop a culture of support, transparency, professionalism, and hard work. Each one of us believes we are solving a problem that will benefit 300 million cryptocurrency owners and soon billions of cryptocurrency owners. Beyond work, we have become like a family and spend time together quite frequently.

PART 2: Preselected Questions from Twitter

Q1: Please advise the key difference between Fizen to other wallets on the market, how will you acquire new users and keep them using Fizen Wallet for a long time?

While many wallets focus on DeFi and for high-tech users, Fizen wallet focuses on real-life payment. The plan is to make Fizen wallet a marketplace or super wallet that offers many services and goods that can be paid for by crypto. The user experience of spending crypto will be very smooth, easy and fast, even for new crypto users. We’ll work with merchants (businesses) to provide shopping cash back, discounts, giveaways to keep our users happy and use Fizen for a long time.

Q2: What is your plan for product launch in this market crash?

Fizen is a long-term project and we have a solid business plan. It’s not a trendy project that can be affected easily by the market condition. The need for payment with crypto is always there and we’ll just concentrate on building the best product for users.

We care about every single detail! We’ll build the app to make it very easy to use for everyone

Q3: Why did you and your team decide to build Fizen wallet?

As mentioned, I have been in the crypto space since 2016 and I came across some existing problems and want to solve them. The biggest problem of mine is not being able to spend crypto easily and directly. I can earn crypto online, like many others, and don’t want to exchange crypto for fiat because the process is lengthy and risky. I wish I can spend crypto easily. Many members of Fizen’s team are having the same problem and we decided to build a wallet that we can use daily!

PART 3: Live Q&A

Q1: What Monsterra is related to your project? How can Fizen support Monsterra users? I come from Monsterra and wanna know the value.

Monsterra is a product in our Fizen Game Studio. We will provide the Fizen Wallet as a GameFi wallet for Monsterra and Monsterra’s players can use the app with many cool features!

Thanks @leovufizen for your info but it’s quite general. Can you help clarify what are features for GameFi?

Sure, we will have

- Swap & Pay: you can use the game tokens to pay for real-life things

- NFT asset management on mobile

- Game Notification

When it can be ready?

Should be by the end of May

Q2: I see 27 people working for Fizen according to the LinkedIn page. Which roles are you seeking nowadays? Country representatives?

Q3: How about the merchants? Can you tell me more about the interchange or services fee or how Fizen support them for off-ramp services?

Fee 0.5% per transaction, first 6 months being free.

Withdraw to fiat for an extra 0.5%, including bank transfer fees to more than 100 countries

Extra Question: When I went through the website of FIZEN, it was said that we can be paid in fiat currency, what fiat currency are we talking about here, is it just dollars and euros, or will other fiat currencies like Naira be made available? During the AMA today, you said Fizen will be able to pay for cafes, taxis, and airlines, how would that be made possible in my local country since Crypto is not yet legal here yet?
